STRAND: WEAVING

MAKING A PAPER MAT.



Look at the above pictures?
i) What items are used to make them?
ii) How do you make them?
iii) Do they look nice?

Weaving is an action of forming an item by interlacing. It can be a fabric (cloth) or something else.

ACTIVITY.
i) Tell your parent or guardian to help you with three hard A-4 papers of different colours.  If not available you can use other papers like old magazines.
ii) Get a ruler and a pencil
iii) Get a pair of scissors.

 Process.
i) Start by measuring and drawing lines of equal with as shown in pictures above.
ii) Cut the strands of different colours or papers using the scissors.
iii) Inter-weave them as in picture 2 above. Be careful not to spoil.
1v) Let your parent assist you to weave.
v) See whether your paper mat looks like the ones above number 3 and 4.
