MULTIPLICATION BY 5

Multiplication is repeated addition.
Any number multiplied by 5 will have either 0 or 5 at the end.


Example
1×5=5
2×5=10
3×5=15

6. Mary has three hens. Each hen lays one egg daily. How many eggs will the hens lay in five days?

7.  5 safari rally cars were filled with twenty litre of petrol each. How many litres were used to fill the cars?

8. One orange has 5 small pieces. How many pieces will be there in six oranges?

9.  A farmer has ten she-goats. Each goat gives birth to 5 kids. How many kids are born?

10. Three men had five breads. How many breads were there all together?
