He walked down aisle unbelieving that at last he was the one. Eyes from all the corners were fixed on him as if he had just fallen from above. Many had come to witness, not what he was about to do but whom he was to do it with. It had taken him a time, two times and another time;his community had refused to accept his ways.
He had opted to look into the East, far far beyond many waters. That's where he had found a rib - amongst those whom Africans believe that they don't see well or rather God denied them big eyes to avoid seeing what is not intended to be theirs. And that is where he went, to find a better half.
As he sat down to wait, the golden moment came. And the noise was all over around the house of God. Horses were jumping and galloping, the trumpets filled the air and drums almost blocked everyone's eardrums. She had arrived, in an Eastern purple regalia and she was ready for whatever would happen!
