POETRY
Read the poem below and answer the questions that follow.
The Elgon Sings.
The Elgon sings,
As she caddles her babies,
She sings of beauty of her home,
Of the sweet sight near her,
In the depths of the forest.
right here we hear her voice,
Singing soothing melodies,
She sings sweetly of the bravely,
Of mountain buffaloes,
That charge courageously,
At prowling poachers,
That dare to attack.
The Elgon sings of protective caves,
That protect the wildlife on the mountain,
The Elgon sings of the precious rocks,
That attract many from far and wide,
Her melody urges on her children,
To defend themselves,
The Elgon sings.
